Position: Customer Service Representative

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations from the initial customer inquiry through to the final product delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in print production, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively within the Presswise system.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Generating Quotes: Accurately generate quotes for print jobs using the Presswise system, ensuring all customer specifications and job requirements are thoroughly captured.
  2. Job Creation: Convert approved quotes into actionable jobs within the Presswise system, ensuring all details are correctly transferred to facilitate smooth production processes.
  3. Customer Information Management: Efficiently input and update new customer information in the Presswise system, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for seamless transactions.
  4. Job Ticket Management: Print and distribute detailed Job Tickets to the Production Team, ensuring all necessary information is clearly communicated to meet production requirements.
  5. Task Coordination: Collaborate closely with the Production Team to prioritize tasks, ensuring all customer deadlines are met with a high standard of quality.
  6. Customer Communication: Maintain consistent and proactive communication with customers, providing regular updates on the status of their jobs and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
  7. Payment Follow-Up: Monitor overdue customer payments, following up to ensure timely settlement and maintaining positive customer relationships.
  8. Revenue Contribution: Support the company’s financial goals by contributing to meeting revenue targets set by the Executive Team, actively engaging in efforts to maximize sales opportunities.
  9. Customer Assistance: Assist customers with expert recommendations on paper stock and materials, ensuring that their project needs are met while also promoting the use of available floor stock.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service within a print shop or related environment.
  • Proficiency with the Presswise system or similar print management software.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Basic knowledge of printing processes, paper types, and materials.
  • Sales acumen with a focus on customer satisfaction and revenue growth.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Finance or related fields.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial modeling and data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or tools relevant to the role.
  • Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
