Yard Sign Stakes
A yard sign stake is the metal frame that holds a corrugated sign upright — slide it into the flutes on the bottom edge of the sign and push it into the ground. Our H-Stakes are 9-gauge galvanized steel, rust-resistant, and built to be reused season after season. They're sized for standard 4mm corrugated plastic signs, the same material used for campaign signs, real estate signs, and event signage.
How to Choose
Pick the Right Height
Our H-Stakes come in 15" and 30" heights. Taller stakes give a sign more lift off the ground and hold larger signs steadier; shorter stakes work for compact signs closer to a walkway.
Metal vs. Plastic
Galvanized steel holds its shape season after season and resists rust. Plastic stakes are lighter but bend permanently after one hard wind — steel is the standard for anything you plan to reuse.
Buy a Buffer
Stakes get lost, bent, and left in the ground when a sign is pulled. A spare box of stakes bought with your order is cheaper than a rush reorder mid-campaign.

What buyers ask before ordering yard sign stakes.
Our H-Stakes come in two heights: 15 inches and 30 inches, both in 9-gauge galvanized steel wire with pointed legs for easy installation. For larger signs (24"x36" and up), we recommend two stakes per sign.
Metal, if you plan to reuse them. Galvanized steel H-stakes hold their shape through wind and multiple seasons of use. Plastic stakes are lighter and cheaper up front, but tend to bend permanently after one hard storm.
Slide the top of the H-stake up into the hollow flutes on the bottom edge of your corrugated sign, then push the pointed legs straight down into the ground until the sign sits at the height you want.
Push the stake in until it feels firm and the sign no longer wobbles — typically several inches of the pointed legs below grade. Soft or sandy soil may need extra depth to hold steady in wind.
